I haven't done a self-portrait in awhile so I picked this photo for this week. I took a lot this week and you can see that over on my other blog. This week was really crazy. In good ways and bad ways. Thinking about moving to Colorado or North/South Carolina in 1-2 years. Work is going to be insane this coming week. Life is happening.

[these are temp...i need to rescan] I started a wet plate collodion class this week and it's amazing. So stoked. These are the first four plates I made. I was able to get away this weekend and stay at the lake house. Life has been pretty crazy.

i'm in south carolina for the week. i took this riding back from the beach, the light was unreal. this place has such beautiful nature everywhere and it's so different from everything i am used to seeing in colorado.

i went up to the mountains three times this past week. it was so fantastic, the weather has just been too perfect lately. last night we went out on the canoes for two hours, it couldn't have been more perfect.

I got my Mark II this week! It is amazing. So in love. So many bonfires this week, walking barefoot in the street, dance parties in parking garages...I love summer and lovely cameras.

It has been a great week. I launched my new blog & website this week. There is a post on this photo and the recipe on the blog so go check it out. I'm really happy with it and excited to see where it goes. I ordered my Mark II this week and it should get here today.

my brother got home from traveling for the last six months this week. we went to the mountains first thing.

Another dog :) I stayed with this little one, Marty, this week while her parents were in Haiti with the rest of the college team. It was an interesting week. After living in a house alone with a little dog for a week, I am positive I never want to live by myself.

this was one of the most fun weeks of my life. i got to see four of my favorite bands in one week. It has been great to have my friend home from school finally and it's definitely getting me motivated! I also got to talk with one of the most fantastic young photographers out there, Jacqueline Harriet everyone should check out her work! I also got up the mountains and shot this in one of the train tunnels.
